As an International Digital Nomad eventually you’ll find yourself in an immigration office or two. I must admit after living in Mexico for 9 months without having to visit one, we have gotten pretty spoiled. That quickly came to a halt coming to Southeast Asia where the Visas are not as generous.

Upon arriving to Bali, Indonesia we paid $35.00 for a VOA ( Visa on Arrival) which can be extended for 30 days for a total of 60 days. To avoid going to the immigration office 3 times instead of just once, we hired an agent and we are so glad we did. It made the process much easier and we were in & out of the immigration office in 2O minutes even though the line was around the corner. Check out the video below to see how it went.
